First-Timer's Guide to How to Wash Hair Extensions

Step1: Brush Your Hair Extensions

Brush from the ends of the hair upwards to avoid damaging the hair and to ensure that all tangles are removed. 

Step2: Mix the Shampoo 

Once your hair extensions are brushed, it's time to prepare the shampoo. Mix a gentle shampoo with lukewarm water in a bowl. Be careful not to use too much shampoo, as this can leave a residue on the hair extensions. 

Step3: Soak the Hair Extensions 

Dip your hair extensions into the bowl of shampoo and water, making sure that the hair is completely submerged. Gently swirl the hair around in the water to ensure that all of the hair is coated with shampoo. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the hair, as this can cause tangling and damage. 

Step4: Rinse the Hair Extensions 

After the hair extensions have soaked for a few minutes, it's time to rinse them. Remove the hair from the bowl and hold it under running water. Step6: Rinse Again

Once your hair extensions are dry, it's time to style them. You can use a blow-dryer, curling iron, or straightener to achieve the desired style. Just be sure to use heat protectant spray to protect the hair extensions from damage.
